Not much of an update, other than saying Happy New Year and our next Club meeting will hopefully be on Friday, 18th January after our 6th block exams. We get out at 1.20 PM so our meeting will prolly last until 2.30 so you don’t have to call for a ride if you normally take a school bus, since school buses run at normal time. XDDD

If any members would like to bring up any kind of topics (even snacks…I’m hungry right now, ya) to the meeting, then feel free to do so. Also, since buses come at normal time and we get out early, this is a good time to invite any friends to our meeting. They prolly would like to come to Club de Manga instead of waiting for their bus for an hour in the cafeteria. ^^; See you all there!

Can’t believe that tomorrow is going to be December. It’s cold outside and that means it’s closer for our Club de Manga Christmas party! *cha cha* Our party will be on 14 December 2007, so make sure you all can attend. During the party, you will be able to turn in the Japan crossword puzzles, that were just passed out today, in and maybe win a prize. We will also be doing the White Elephant gift exchange again this year. If you would like, you may bring in a gift for the exchange or maybe bring in a snack or beverage for the party. I think that it’s about dang time that something cool like this opened up in my area of town and near school, for those who would like to check the place out after school. ^_^ Here are their hours and their prices currently: (Please note that they are under “beta” opening and these prices may change. Whoa! It’s been a while since the last site post. Well, at the last meeting, we had our Halloween party. Too bad that Operation Anime was having problems shipping out club DVDs. But as of yesterday, President Fish got the DVD from the UPS. (I looked at the UPS tracking code this morning and it said he has it.) So we get to start our OA monthly DVD screening now starting next meeting. The first DVD from OA is Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 1. Vice President Rica doesn’t like the choice cos you can watch FMA on TV. I don’t blame her at all, cos me and her agree that we should try to show less popular animes to get more interesting and new things flowing throughout club. XDDD

Neither of us Club de Manga staff knew this, but today, I checked over at Anime Advocates to see if we’ve been accepted yet for their anime club support program. I logged in and looks like we’re part of AA now. The weird thing is that we never got an email from them. *shrugs* So sometime in the next few weeks, we should be getting their monthly newsletters along with a sampler DVD.

For once, I am going to do a small change to the forums. I, Ravie-chan, shall change the forum smilies! XDDD We need the change. We had those purple bunnies since like forever. ^^; I’ve got some ready to load up here in a bit. Other than that, the next club meeting is unknown. So listen to the announcements at school! *cha cha*

YAY! We are finally back online. We gave up on the Club de Manga site last year, cos of lack of interest from the members. This year, though, we are going at it one more time. We hope that everyone checks us out. XD
